This photo of an antique handle on my poppy’s dresser won me my first publication at 16. This was back in the day when all I had was an eye for photos and a zoom lens. It’s all natural light coming in strongly from an open window to the right. I love the wear on the wood, the scratches, the cuts, the rubbed off lacquer…
